José has wide public and private sector professional experience. He has advised the Mexican Government and U.S. and Canadian investors to achieve their trade and investment goals in the NAFTA region. Calling upon a wealth of public and private sector contacts, José specializes in advising foreign investors to establish or expand their presence in Mexico and in acting as interim or permanent Country Manager.

He is currently President of the Mexico-Canada Business Committee at the Mexican Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE), a Mexican private sector organization dedicated to promoting Mexican exports and attracting foreign direct investment to Mexico. COMCE interacts with leading business associations across the globe.

José has also had important leadership roles in public and private projects in sectors such as brokerage, mining, transportation, and nuclear energy.
